48500: Acronis True Image: Using Cloud Storage

Description

Cloud Storage is included into the following editions:

  • Acronis True Image Unlimited for PC & Mac (1 computer)
  • Acronis True Image Unlimited for PC & Mac (3 computers)

Users of Acronis True Image 2015 editions can purchase a 250GB, 500GB or 1TB Cloud Storage quota.

Acronis Cloud Backup does not have a serial number. The product is registered under your account as a subscription.

  

Trying

  1. Unlimited Cloud Storage is available for the 30 days trial period.
  2. Unlimited Cloud Storage is available as a trial option for 30 days after activating Acronis True Image 2015 for PC/Mac (if was not activated before).

Purchasing

Acronis Cloud can be purchased in the product in-app or on the web site.

Purchasing in the product in-app:

  1. Start Acronis True Image 2015.
  2. If you do not have a license yet, select Buy full version and select the desired Acronis True Image 2015 license:
  3. If you do have an Acronis True Image 2015 license, you can add Cloud Storage. Sign in to your Acronis account:
  4. Click Buy subscription:
  5. Select the desired Cloud subscription.

Purchasing on the Acronis website:

  1. Log in to your account on the Acronis website.
  2. Go to Cloud Backup -> For Home.
  3. Select the desired Cloud subscription.

Renewing subscription

  1. On the Account tab click Renew subscription:
  2. Select subscription, proceed to purchase by clicking Buy now.

Set up auto-renewal:

  1. Log in to your account on the Acronis website.
  2. Go to Cloud Backup -> For Home.
  3. Click Activate now:

 

Extending subscription

  1. On the Account tab click on Buy more space:
  2. Select the subscription you want to upgrade to: Acronis True Image Unlimited, Acronis Cloud 500GB or Acronis Cloud 1TB (these two options are displayed after unchecking Acronis True Image Unlimited):

Note: the subsequent subscription will overwrite the current one, backed up data will be kept.

  

Accessing data after subscription ends

After your Acronis Cloud subscription expires, the backed up data is still accessible:

  • For 5 days after Acronis Cloud subscription expires you can continue making backups to Cloud Storage;
  • During 30 days after Acronis Cloud subscription expires you can restore data from Cloud Storage;
  • 30 days after Acronis Cloud subscription expiration the data on Cloud Storage is destroyed. 

(!) This applies both to trial and paid subscription.
If you renew Acronis Cloud subscription during 30 days after subscription expiration, the existing backups will be kept and you can continue backing up data to the same archive.
