This issue has been fixed in Update 5 (Build 39029/38929 depending on the region), please update the software. Delete .tmp-files from the .meta-folders

Symptoms

  1. You've updated Acronis Backup Advanced 11.5 to build 38774.
  2. You cannot access a centralized managed vault. You receive a "Vault is corrupted" error message.
  3. If you check .meta folders:
    %allusersprofile%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\ASN\.meta
    - <PATH_TO_YOUR_MANAGED_VAULT>\.meta
    - If you are using Centralized Tape vault then the path is TapeLocation\.meta. Default path for TapeLocation is %allusersprofile%\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\TapeLocation; you can see .tmp-files there:

Cause

Changes made to the archive metadata were not saved leaving .tmp-files in the meta-folder (e.g. due to a power outage or for any other reason).

Solution

This issue has been fixed in Update 5 (Build 39029/38929 depending on the region), please update the software. See Installation of the latest update of an Acronis product.

To work around the issue without updating the software delete/move to another location all .tmp-files. Only files with GUID-like names should stay in the .meta-folder, this is the metadata of archives:
