47238: Manually binding the cluster IP address for the Access Gateway

Introduction

It is possible that when installing on a Microsoft Failover Cluster, the Acronis Access Gateway server cannot bind to the cluster IP address.

 

Solution

  1. Open an elevated command prompt.
  2. Enter the following command: netsh http delete iplisten ipaddress=your cluster ip address (without a port).
  3. Once the current IP address has been succesfully removed from the iplisten list, enter the following command: netsh http add iplisten ipaddress=your cluster ip address (without a port).
  4. Reboot the machine.

This only occurs on Microsoft Failover Clusters.
