47195: Acronis True Image for Mac: Backup to Share Fails if Computer Goes to Sleep

use Google Translate

As a workaround, restart the backup operation

This article applies to:

  • Acronis True Image for Mac

  1. You start a backup operation with Acronis True Image for Mac to a share;
  2. Your computer goes to sleep;
  3. The backup operation fails with the following messages:

    The last backup has been canceled by user.
    Error occurred while writing the file.

This is a known issue. A backup attempt to a share fails when the computer wakes up after the sleep mode and there was not enough time for the share to get mounted.

As a workaround, restart the operation when the computer is not in the sleep mode.
