Cause
Acronis Backup Advanced for Hyper-V does not support agentless backup of VMs located on SMB3.0 file shares.
Solution
This feature has been implemented in Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7. Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7 is available for all Acronis Backup Advanced 11.5 users free of charge, please download and install the latest build available in your account.
As a workaround, you can
- Move VHD files to supported storage.
- Install Agent for Windows inside the guest OS of each virtual machine situated on the SMB 3.0 share.
