46505: Acronis True Image: Troubleshooting Acronis Startup Recovery Manager Issues

    Do the following to troubleshoot an issue with activating Acronis Startup Recovery Manager:

    1. Turn off antivirus software before reproducing (if installed);
    2. Boot the computer with a Linux-based bootable media and activate the ASRM from "Tools & Utilities -> Acronis Startup Recovery Manager":
    3. Alternatively boot the computer with a WinPE-based bootable media and activate the ASRM from "Tools & Utilities -> Acronis Startup Recovery Manager":
    4. If the computer is UEFI, try to disable UEFI mode temporarily, then perform two previous steps. After reproducing, do not forget to enable UEFI mode. For example, on Intel DQ67SW it looks like:

     

    In case these steps did not resolve the issue, please collect the following information:

    1. System Report:
      Acronis True Image 2016: Generating System Report
      Acronis True Image 2015: Generating System Report
      Acronis True Image 2014: Generating System Report
    2. Screenshot of the error (if any);
    3. Provide exact information about environment(System is UEFI, GPT, RAID);
    4. Log with error;
    5. If ASRM cannot be activated under Windows only, collect Process monitor log (PML) while reproducing the problem (attempt to activate ASRM).
