    This article describes what steps should be taken when unable to retrieve SharePoint data from backup, while database is visible in backup.

    Microsoft SharePoint uses Microsoft SQL server to keep its data in SQL databases.

    This article will be updated with known issues and troubleshooting information. For now, if you are facing issues with retrieving SharePoint data from a backup please collect information and contact Acronis Support with reference to this article.

    1. Logs of server where console is installed. (C:\ProgramData\Acronis\ASPDE\Logs);
    2. Error message;
    3. Collect System Report from the machine in question: see instruction for Generating System Report, if this fails for any reason, you can use this AcronisInfo Utility;
    4. PCAP log if archive or SQL database reside on remote machine. See Collecting PCAP Logs.
