This has been fixed
This article applies to:
- You create a backup plan/policy and set up E-Mail notifications under Backup options -> Notifications -> E-mail;
- Then you edit the created plan under Backup plans and tasks -> Edit;
- After editing, the password gets trimmed to two symbols:
GUI issue in the product. The password itself does not change, and is stored in plan's script in encrypted form.
If you click on Send test e-mail notification, you will be prompted for a password. It is a matter of security.
If you do not change anything, and simply click OK, e-mail notifications should work fine upon task execution.
