Introduction
To restore from an unmanaged vault from Acronis Bootable Media, browse to the network share or local folder where the archive is.
To restore from a centralized managed vault from Acronis Bootable Media, click on Storage node, type in the IP Address or computer name of the machine with Acronis Storage Node.
Solution
Restoring from an unmanaged vault
- Boot from Acronis Bootable Media, click Recover. Under What to recover click Archive -> Change;
- In the Path field type in the path to the unmanaged vault. Select the archive:
Restoring from a centralized managed vault
- Boot from Acronis Bootable Media, click Recover. Under What to recover click Archive -> Change;
- Click on Storage nodes;
- In the Path field you will see bsp://;
- There, after bsp://, type in the IP Address or computer name of the machine with Acronis Storage Node and press the green arrow icon to the left from the path field;
- You will then be prompted with credentials;
- After providing the credentials, you will see your centralized managed vaults and will be able to select the archives:
(!) To perform any backup or restore operation to or from a centralized managed vault, the Acronis Storage Node must be running.
