Clean the folder with Acronis True Image Home logs to resolve the issue
This article applies to:
- You launch Acronis True Image Home 2009 in Windows;
- The product stays at Initialize... for a considerable amount of time (up to 20 minutes):
Acronis True Image Home checks for its logs, which have considerably grown in size since the product's installation.
Clean up the following folder:
- Windows Vista or Windows 7: \ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs
- Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\All Users\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs
The issue should now be resolved.
