Synchronization of two local folders on one machine

This article describes how to sync two or more local folders on one machine. This includes data synchronization with a folder on a removable or remote storage device, such as a USB flash drive, USB hard drive, NAS, etc.

- Start the product and click Synchronization:
- Log in to your Acronis online account:
This is the regular Acronis account at the Acronis website, which you probably already have. See also Registration at Acronis Website.
- Click New sync:
- Select a folder to sync and click Next:
(!) An empty folder cannot be selected.
You will be asked to use the Acronis Cloud or not:
For using local folders, it is not necessary to use the Acronis Cloud. Depending on what you want to do, choose Yes or No.
Right click on the new created sync and choose sync with -> Local folder..:
- Select the folder you want to sync with and press Select Folder:
Alternatively, you can always right-click on a folder in Windows and select Acronis True Image Home -> Sync now or Sync with:
