Symptoms
In the operation log of the product you see the following error message:
Error while parsing script file
Cause
One of the tasks has gone corrupted.
The tasks are scripts with the *.tis extension located at:
- Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts

Solution

To work around the issue, do the following:
- Close Acronis True Image Home 2012;
- Delete the task scripts from Windows - i.e. all files from the following folder:
- Windows XP: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
- Windows Vista, Windows 7: ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts
(!) To access these folders you will need to enable viewing hidden files and folders in Windows:
- Start Acronis True Image Home 2012, right-click on each of the tasks and select Recreate backup settings:
This will fix the issue.
