Uninstall the product. And then install again
This article applies to:
- Acronis True Image Home 2012
Symptoms
Acronis True Image Home 2012 fails to start with one of the following errors:
Failed to reinstall Snapman driver
Failed to check Snapman driver
Cause
A previous reinstallation or updating attempt did not complete correctly. One of the drivers did not install.
Solution
To fix the issue, you will need to uninstall the product and then install it again:
(!) During the procedure you will not lose your backup settings/tasks and the backups themselves.
- Uninstall the product from Windows:
- Windows Vista, Windows 7: Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features
- Windows XP: Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs
- Reinstall the product.
If after the reinstallation the issue persists, please use the Cleanup Utility:
- Uninstall the product as described in Acronis True Image Home 2011, 2012 and True Image 2013 by Acronis: Cleanup Utility;
- Reinstall the product.
