2907: Receiving Upgrade Licenses for Acronis Enterprise Products

How to receive an upgrade license for an Acronis Enterprise Product provided that you have a respective support option

Introduction

 

You can receive free upgrade licenses to your Acronis Enterprise Product if you have any of the following:

If you do not have a valid support program, you can purchase upgrade licenses for your Enterprise Product. To renew your support program, please submit maintenance renewal request.

(!) Please note that you can upgrade to Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 only from Acronis True Image Echo or Acronis True Image 9.1 products. See also Upgrade notes at http://www.acronis.com/backup-recovery/choose-backup-recovery.html or Acronis Software Upgrade Table.

(!) Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 can only be upgraded to Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced Workstation if you have a valid Enterprise support program for it.

Solution

Acronis Backup & Recovery for MS SQL is now integrated component of Acronis Backup & Recovery family. To use new version of Acronis Recovery for SQL you need to have Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Update 1 (build 37608) installed! To ensure that we provide you a correct upgrade license, please chose one of the following options under my account in Upgrade Tab:

  1. Choose if you use Acronis Recovery for SQL on a server additionally protected by Acronis Backup & Recovery with active maintenance: It means that you have Acronis Recovery for MS SQL and Acronis Backup & Recovery installed on your machine. Both of the products have valid maintenance.
  2. Choose if you use Acronis Recovery for SQL on a server without Acronis Backup & Recovery, or your maintenance for Acronis Backup & Recovery has expired: It means you have only Acronis Recovery for MS SQL with valid maintenance, however you either do not have Acronis Backup & Recovery installed on the same machine or its maintenance has expired.

 

For all other enterprise products, please do the following:

  1. Log in to your account;
  2. Make sure all product Serial Numbers are registered under your account;
  3. Switch to My Products & Downloads in the upper left-hand corner of the page:

  4. Click on Support to see if you have a valid support program:

  5. Click on the Upgrades tab under the product you want to upgrade:

    (!) If there is any issue with the Upgrade not working, please contact Acronis Customer Central with a reference to this article and your purchase confirmation (Invoice, License certificate)

  6. Click on the product name:

    A pop-up window will appear:

    • If you have a valid Acronis support program, you will see the Get free upgrade button. Press it and Upgrade Serial Numbers will get automatically registered under your account and will also be sent to your mailbox.

    • If you do not have valid support programs, you can always purchase Upgrade licenses in Acronis Online Store:
