How to install Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Windows or Linux
Introduction
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console has two distributions:
- Windows distribution;
- Linux distribution.

Solution
Installation of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Windows
- Run the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 setup file;
- Select the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console component;
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
Installation of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Linux
- Run the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 setup file;
- Extract the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Linux component;
- Put the extracted file to a Linux machine;
- On the Linux machine issue the following commands:
chmod 777 AcronisManagementConsoleLinux.i686
./AcronisManagementConsoleLinux.i686

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Linux has the following limitations:
- Remote installation of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 components is not available;
- Active Directory-related features, such as browsing the AD, are not available.
(!) Trial key will not be accepted by a Remote Installation wizard if Acronis Management Console runs on a server operating system and the trial does not support it. Run Acronis Management Console on another operating system (allowed by the trial key), or use a trial key that allows installation on the server operating system.
