Symptoms

  1. You activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager;
  2. You back up the system with the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager activated;
  3. You restore the system partition;
  4. After the restore, Acronis Startup Recovery Manager is deactivated. There is no Acronis Startup Recovery Manager prompt on system boot.

Cause

Issue in the product.

Solution

(!) This has been fixed. The fix is available in the latest released build of the product. See Installation of the latest update of an Acronis product.

To resolve the issue without installing the latest build, as a workaround, reactivate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager manually after restore.
