Symptoms

You try to start Acronis Nonstop Backup session which has been paused.

You receive the following error message:

An error occurred during starting Acronis Nonstop Backup session

with one of the following error codes: 

0x00E4002E+0x00E40022+0x00000009

0x00640079+0x00E4002E+0x00E40022+0x00000009

0x00640078+0x00E4002E+0x00E40022+0x00000009

Cause

In some cases Acronis Nonstop Backup Service and Acronis True Image graphical user interface may become unsynchronized. Thus, Acronis Nonstop Backup box in the main program window may display Nonstop Backup as paused, though the service is actually running.

Solution

This error message can be safely ignored.

Restart Acronis True Image Home 2011 to synchronize product user interface and Acronis Nonstop Backup service status. 

(!) If you have this issue with Acronis True Image Home 2012, then this has been fixed, and the fix is available in the latest build of the product. It is strongly recommended that you download and install it.
