Description of the Acronis True Image notification feature

TrueImageNotify is used to provide an E-mail or Windows pop-up notification after a backup is created. 

E-Mail notifications

For detailed information on how to set up E-mail notifications, see E-mail Notifications Fail in Acronis Backup Products.

If the settings are correct, clicking Send test email message will result in your E-mail client receiving notification message.

WinPopup notifications

(!) WinPopup notifications do not work in Windows Vista or Window Server 2008. See Acronis True Image WinPopup Notifications Fail in Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008.

If the settings are correct, clicking Send test WinPopup message will send the message successfully.

Messenger service must be enabled (Administrative Tools -> Services), otherwise WinPopup notifications will not work:
