If you have ESET NOD32 installed on the machine, please remove it before installing Acronis Backup and Security 2011

It is strongly recommended to remove any security software from the computer before installing the Acronis Backup and Security 2011.
(!) Installation of Acronis Internet Security 2011, which is a component of Acronis Backup and Security 2011, on the same system with ESET NOD32 will result in a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) and the system will be unbootable:
If there is ESET NOD32 installed on the system, Acronis Backup and Security 2011 will detect this and warn you:
Please make sure you remove ESET NOD32 from the system before you install Acronis Backup and Security 2011.
If you have already installed Acronis Backup and Security 2011 on the same machine with ESET NOD32 and the system is unbootable, plese do the following:
- Boot the machine in Windows Safe Mode:
You may need to need to hit F8 on system boot to invoke the menu.
- Once you boot in Windows Safe Mode, uninstall ESET NOD32.
The system should be bootable now.
If you are only installing Acronis True Image Home 2011 (and not Acronis Internet Security 2011), then it is safe to keep your antivirus software, including ESET NOD32.
