Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux Errors Out with "Not enough memory"
This article applies to:
Symptoms
- You are trying to back up a partition of Linux 2.4 kernel based system (e.g. Red Hat Advanced Server 2,3);
- The backup operation fails with the following error message:
Failed to perform backup operation.
Not enough memory.
Cause
The SnapAPI module (0.7.42) included in the current builds of Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux and Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server Linux Agent is outdated.
Solution
- Download the updated SnapAPI module:
- Recompile it. See Creating the SNAPAPI Module in Acronis Backup Software for Linux.
