Symptoms

  1. You are trying to back up a partition of Linux 2.4 kernel based system (e.g. Red Hat Advanced Server 2,3);
  2. The backup operation fails with the following error message:

Not enough memory.

Cause

The SnapAPI module (0.7.42) included in the current builds of Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux and Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server Linux Agent is outdated.

Solution

  1. Download the updated SnapAPI module:
