Defective serial numbers were accidentally provided in some boxes
This article applies to:
- Acronis True Image Home 2009 UK Boxed Version
Acronis True Image Home 2009 does not accept the serial number shipped with the UK boxed version.
The defective serial number was shipped with the product. The serial number needs to be replaced for normal product usage.
- Go to http://www.acronis.com/my/products/exchange/ and submit your registration e-mail and password for your account on Acronis Web Site;
(!) If you do not have an account, please create one at https://www.acronis.com/my/registration/
- Submit the product serial number you currently own. The new serial will be issued in a few seconds. The system will automatically register the new serial number to your account;
- Submit the newly provided serial number when installing the product. If the product is already installed, submit the new serial number when prompted during the product startup. The product should be activated to the fully functional state.
