After rebooting the machine with Acronis Group Server the networked computers with Acronis True Image Agents are automatically polled as offline, even though they are supposed to have the status "Ready"
This article applies to:
Symptoms
- You install Acronis Group Server on Machine 1;
- You install Acronis Management Console on Machine 1 or any other computer in the same network;
- You install Acronis True Image Agent on Machine 2 and leave it running and networked;
- You reboot Machine 1;
- After connecting to Acronis Group Server with Acronis Management Console, Machine 2 shows up as Offline in the Group Tasks Management list.
Cause
Acronis Group Server's algorithm of automatic polling for networked computers lags.
Solution
As a workaround, click one of the Filter buttons to force the polling. You may need to do this several times before the computer shows up with the actual status. You can also try disabling automatic polling to have a better refresh rate on clicking the Filter buttons.
To disable the polling, tick off Do not browse network for new computers at Tools -> Options -> Network -> Status check interval.
To have the issue fixed, update to the latest build of Acronis True Image Echo. See Downloading the Latest Build of Acronis Software.
