The current version of Acronis Disk Director allows you to convert a FAT16 partition to FAT32, Ext2 to Ext3, and vice versa.

  1. Select the FAT 16 partition that you want to convert from the list in the Acronis Disk Director main window;
  2. Select Convert in the Advanced sidebar list;
  3. Enter the new file system type in the convert partition window;
  4. Click OK.
