As a workaround, unplug the USB device and reboot the machine

This article applies to:

Symptoms

  1. You have one of the listed products installed on your machine;
  2. Once you plug in a USB device with a 4 KB cluster size (e.g. iPod), the Acronis product crashes.

Cause

The listed Acronis products cannot handle the 4 KB cluster size properly.

Solution

As a workaround, unplug the USB device and reboot the machine.

More information

Most iPod models have 4 KB cluster size.

The issue does not exist starting from Acronis True Image Home 2011.
