Hit CTRL-V to insert the serial license into the installation wizard

This article applies to:

• Acronis True Image Home 2009 and older Acronis products.

(!) Latest builds of Acronis True Image Home 2010 and more recent versions allow pasting serial number using right-click -> Paste. See Installation of the Latest Update of an Acronis Product.

Introduction

Right-click has not been implemented in the installation wizard of Acronis products.

To paste (insert) your license key into the installation wizard use the CTRL-V key combination.

Solution

To paste your serial key number into the installation wizard, do the following;

1. Copy the serial key by selecting it, doing a right-click and selecting Copy:

2. Paste the serial key into the installation wizard by hitting the CTRL-V combination:
