  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server - Virtual Edition (Agent for Linux)

Symptoms

  1. You are trying to start Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 under a Linux operating system that does not have the XRender extension;
  2. The product does not start.

Cause

GUI of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 works only on the Linux operating systems that have the XRender extension.

Solution

As a workaround, you still can use the command line interface (trueimagecmd tool) of the product or run Acronis Backup & Recovery Management Console with 'noxrender' parameter:

# acronis_console -noxrender

(!) Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 GUI will be very slow with the noxrender parameter and this parameter is available starting from Build 11639 only.

More information
