Run the product, log into your account, and back up the data

This article applies to:

• Acronis True Image Home 2010 Online Backup (Standalone)

Introduction

Using Acronis True Image Home 2010 Online Backup (Standalone), you can back up your data to an online backup account.

Please make sure you have an online backup account. See Acronis Online Backup Subscription.

Solution

1. Run the product and log into your online backup account:

   

   

2. Click the setting next to Data to back up or Options -> What to back up:

     

   Select the files, folders, or document categories that you want to back up:

   

   To exclude certain files from the backup, click Exclude system files, the specified custom items:

   

   Click Save and Close;

3. Back Up:

   Click Back Up Now to start the backup immediately:

   

   Click the down arrow next to Back Up Now to start the backup in one or several hours:

   

   Click the setting next to Schedule to schedule the backup:

(!) Once the backup operation starts, you cannot cancel it. You can only suspend the job:

Once suspended, you can resume the backup job any time later by hitting Backup Up Now in the program interface. The backup job will start from the point when it was suspended.
