First install Acronis drivers, then Acronis True Image Home, and only then RamPhantom to resolve the compatibility issue

This article applies to:

• Acronis True Image Home 2009

Symptoms

1. You install Acronis True Image Home 2009 on a machine where RamPhantom software is installed;
2. To complete the installation Acronis True Image Home 2009 goes into reboot, and after this the system is unbootable with a blue screen.

Cause

Older drivers of Acronis True Image Home are incompatible with RamPhantom drivers.

Solution

To have both Acronis True Image Home 2009 and RamPhantom on the same machine, please install the products in the following sequence:

1. Download and install Acronis drivers;
2. Install the latest build of Acronis True Image Home 2009;
3. Install RamPhantom.
