When booted from Acronis Bootable Media, hit Ctrl-Shift to change the language

Introduction

Acronis Bootable Media comes in one language and keyboard layout if the product is in English.

Acronis Bootable Media comes in two keyboard languages and layouts if the product is not in English.

For example, a US or UK build of the product has only English keyboard layout and language in Acronis Bootable Media. This means that if you have a US build of the product, you will not be able to switch the keyboard language and layout. If you have a UK build of the product, you will not be able to switch the keyboard language and layout.

For example, a French or German build of the product has both English and French keyboard layouts and languages in Acronis Bootable Media.

Solution

To change the keyboard layout and language in Acronis Bootable Media do the following:

1. Boot from Acronis Bootable Media;
2. When booted, start the product from Acronis Bootable Media;
3. Press Ctrl-Shift.
