Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server Virtual Edition supports Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware ESX/ESXi on the host level

Description

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server - Virtual Edition can back up the following types of virtual machines from the hosts using agentless backup:

  • Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 (x32/x64): Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for Hyper-V
  • Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2: Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for Hyper-V
  • VMware ESX/ESXi Server versions 3.5 Update 2 and later (free editions are not supported): Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for ESX/ESXi;

(!) Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent for ESX/ESXi does not back up host machine.
