
When contacting Acronis Customer Central with a technical issue, it is recommended to have Acronis System Report at hand

Introduction
Generating Acronis System Report lets Acronis Support Professionals have a better insight into the issue you may be experiencing.
Acronis System Report may be both generated in Windows or from Acronis Bootable Media:
When generated in Windows, it will collect the following information:
- Acronis folder from Application Data - Log files and other diagnostic information on the installed Acronis products and components;
- acroreg.reg - Export of registry keys related to Acronis;
- applog.evt - Windows Event Application log;
- disks.txt - Information about your hard disks and their structure as detected in Windows. See Acronis Report;
- groups.txt - Information about the Windows groups that contain the user account;
- msinfo.nfo - Windows System Information File;
- oss.txt - Acronis OS Selector report;
- rights.txt - Export of Windows user rights;
- schedule.txt - Acronis Scheduler report. See also Acronis Scheduler Manager;
- syslog.evt - Windows System Log.
When generated from Acronis Bootable Media, it will collect:
- sysinfo.txt - Information about your hard disks and their structure as detected in Acronis Linux. See Acronis Linux Report;
- disks.txt - Information about your hard disks and their structure as detected in Windows. See Acronis Report;
- oss.txt - Acronis OS Selector report.
Solution
Generating Acronis System Report in Windows:
(!) You can always execute immediate report generation by pressing CTRL-F7 in Acronis True Image Home 2010.
- Run Acronis True Image Home 2010. Click the down-arrow sign in the upper right corner and select Generate System Report:

- Generating the report may take a while. Once done, it will show you the items generated and prompt to save the report:

- Click Save As and browse to a folder where you would like to save the report:

The report will be saved in a .zip file. The name of the report will be similar to AcronisSystemReport_Thursday__September_03__2009_5_16_29_PM.zip.
Generating Acronis System Report from Acronis Bootable Media:
(!) You can execute immediate report generation by pressing CTRL-F7 in Acronis True Image Home 2010.
- Boot from Acronis Bootable Media, run Acronis True Image Home 2010, click the down-arrow sign in the upper right corner and select Generate System Report:

- Once done, the report will show you the items generated and prompt to save the report:

- Click Save As and browse to a folder where you would like to save the report:

The report will be saved in a .zip file. The name of the report will be similar to AcronisSystemReport_Thursday__September_03__2009_5_16_29_PM.zip.
Generating Acronis System Report from Acronis Bootable Media without Booting into GUI:
(!) If the product does not boot from Acronis Bootable Media, system report generation will fail too. If this is the case, please contact Acronis Customer Central for assistance.
- First you need to create Acronis Bootable Media with Acronis System Report:
- Run Acronis True Image Home 2010. Click Tools & Utilities and select Create Bootable Rescue Media:

- Tick off the Acronis System Report box and proceed with creating Acronis Bootable Media:

- Now boot the machine from the created Acronis Bootable Media and select Acronis System Report:

(!) Acronis System Report will be saved to a USB flash drive. Please make sure you have a USB flash drive plugged in.
Acronis System Report will be generated and saved as a .zip file. The name of the report will be similar to AcronisSystemReport_Thursday__September_03__2009_4_46_58_PM.zip:
