On trying to select a disk or partition Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 keeps showing "Loading..." until the validation task is over

Symptoms

  1. In Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 you run a validation task on a backup archive;
  2. While the validation task is running, you are trying to create another task (e.g. back up a disk);
  3. On trying to select a partition or hard disk, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 keeps showing Loading... until the validation task is over:

Cause

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 cannot perform other operations with had disks when a validation task is running.

Solution

This has been fixed. The fix is available in the latest released build of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.
