
Using Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console you can access Acronis Agents and Acronis Management Server
Description
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console has two distributions:
- Windows distribution;
- Linux distribution.
Both distributions, when installed, allow you to connect to:
- Acronis Agent for Windows;
- Acronis Agent for Hyper-V;
- Acronis Agent for ESX/ESXi;
- Acronis Agent for Linux;
- Acronis Management Server.
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console for Linux has the following limitations:
- Remote installation of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 components is not available;
- Active Directory-related features, such as browsing the AD, are not available.
Acronis Management Console has the following options:
- Manage this machine – Connect to Acronis Agent installed on the same machine with Acronis Management Console;
- Manage a remote machine – Connect to Acronis Agent installed on a remote machine;
- Connect to a management server – Connect to Acronis Management Server that can be installed on the same Windows machine with Acronis Management Console, or on a different one;
- Create bootable media – Create Acronis Bootable Media;
- Install Acronis Components – Do a remote installation of Acronis components;
- Run Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange – Run the product if it is installed on the machine;
- Run Acronis Recovery for Microsoft SQL Server - Run the product if it is installed on the machine.
