Install Acronis License Server anew or over an existing one

This article applies to:

• Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Editions

Introduction

If an earlier version of Acronis License Server is already installed, upgrade it by installing the new Acronis License Server on the same machine. In this case, the old license keys will be present in the upgraded Acronis License Server.

If you have not used Acronis License Server before, import both old license keys and upgrade license keys to the newly installed license server.

Solution

To install or upgrade Acronis License Server:

• Run the Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 setup file;
• Click Install Acronis Backup & Recovery 10;
• Click Install Acronis License Server on this machine and follow the on-screen instructions;
• Import the upgrade license keys for Acronis Backup & Recovery 10;
• If you have not used Acronis License Server before, import the old license keys.

After this, Acronis License Server will have the old license keys and the newly imported upgrade license keys.
