Symptoms

  1. You set up backup reattempts under More options -> Error handling:

  2. When the backup task runs and network connection is lost, the backup fails. No backup is automatically reattempted.

Cause

This is a known issue. In case of failure, backup is not reattempted automatically.

Solution

(!) This has been fixed and the fix is available in Acronis vmProtect 7 Build 5144 or higher. See Upgrading to Acronis vmProtect 7.

As a workaround, rerun the failed backup task.
