How to disable Windows shell extensions that show up in the context menu after installation of Acronis True Image

Introduction

When you install any version of Acronis True Image, a special Windows shell extension is enabled in the context menu. This is done to let you have an easier access to the functionality of Acronis True Image: you can right-click on any file, folder or a backup archive and pick the necessary task from the context menu.

The exact naming may differ depending on the Acronis True Image version installed.
