Download Linux components from Acronis website

This article applies to:

• Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server

Introduction

Installation files for Linux components are no longer included in the main installer of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11. You need to download them separately from Acronis website.

Solution

1. Run Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 installation file and press Extract installation files:

   

2. Press Download Linux components from Acronis Web site:

   

3. You will be redirected to Acronis web site. Log in to your Acronis account using your credentials.

   (!) If you do not have an account on Acronis website, you need to register first: see Registration at Acronis Website.

4. Once logged in, you will be redirected to My Products&Downloads page.

   In the list of your registered products, select Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server and go to Linux components tab:

   

   If Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server is not registered yet, you need to register it to get access to downloading Linux components. See Registering Acronis Products at the Website.

5. Download the components that you need according to your system type:

   

   The following components are available for download:

   • Advanced Linux Agent - used for backing up disks/volumes and data 
   • Advanced Linux Console - connect to Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Agent and Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Management Server
   • Advanced Linux Media Builder - allows to create bootable media based on Linux kernel
