Description

Acronis Backup & Security 2011 contains 2 components: the backup module based on Acronis True Image Home 2011 and the security part - Acronis Internet Security 2011.

The backup module in Acronis Backup & Security 2011 is based on Acronis True Image Home 2011, but it is not the same product. Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack can only be installed on Acronis True Image Home 2011; for Acronis Backup & Security 2011 you need the appropriate add-on - Acronis Backup & Security 2011 Plus Pack.

If you try to install  Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack on Acronis Backup & Security 2011, the installation will fail with the message similar to the following one:

Restrictions, which prevent the installation, are detected

Vice versa,  Acronis Backup & Security 2011 Plus Pack cannot be installed on Acronis True Image Home 2011 - you need the appropriate add-on Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack.
