Acronis products do not support Itanuim platforms

Symptoms

Acronis product fails to install on an Itanium platform.

Cause

Currently Acronis products do not support Intel Itanium processors (and systems based on them) due to a completely different architecture.

Solution

There is no solution.

It is not planned to add support for Itanium-based machines in the nearest future.
