As a workaround, recover from Acronis Bootable Media

This article applies to:

  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 11

Symptoms

  1. You have a dynamic system disk on a UEFI-GPT system;
  2. You attempt to recover a volume and reboot is required to complete the operation;
  3. The recovery operation fails:

Cause

This is a known issue.

Solution

As a workaround, you can recover the volume from Acronis Bootable Media.
