Symptoms
- You install Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 with SQL Express on a machine with McAfee SaaS Total Protection;
- The installation of SQL Express hangs.
Cause
McAfee SaaS Total Protection is incompatible with SQL Express as part of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.
Solution
There are two possible workarounds:
- You can install Acronis Management Server with SQL Express on a different machine;
- You can specify an existing SQL server to be used with Acronis Management Server: press Change and specify SQL server to use and credentials for access.
