An attempt to issue any command with TrueImageCmd will error out

This article applies to:

  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (All Editions)

Symptoms

  1. You have Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 installed on the same machine with Parallels Virtuozzo Containers;
  2. An attempt to issue any command with TrueImageCmd.exe errors out with the following message:

Cause

This is a known compatibility issue of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 and Parallels Virtuozzo Containers.

Solution

There is no workaround at the moment.
