Acronis products do not run in Windows Safe Mode

Description

Acronis products do not support Windows Safe Mode. Correct functioning of Acronis products in Windows Safe Mode is not guaranteed.

In Safe Mode Windows only loads the most essential drivers and services, the basic minimum required for running the operating system. In such scenario, Acronis drivers are not loaded and Acronis services are not started - Acronis services depend on other Windows services, so they cannot be started manually in Safe mode.

If you cannot run Windows in normal mode, it is recommended to use Acronis Bootable Media to do the necessary operation. See Standalone Version of Acronis Software and Downloading Acronis Bootable Media.
