You can scan disk or partitions, files or folders before backing them up

Description

You can set Acronis True Image Home 2011 to scan the data for viruses before making a backup.

1. Click Disk backup options or File backup options:

2. On the Advanced tab, expand Virus scan and select Scan data for viruses before backup:

   

   Selecting the Scan mail databases before backup checkbox will not only scan data, but will also scan mail databases on the machine for viruses. E.g. it will scan mail messages and attachments in the Outlook PST file.
