Upgrade to the latest build to resolve the issue

This article applies to:

• Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux
• Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server Linux Agent

Symptoms

1. You are trying to back up disks or partitions;
2. Acronis True Image fails to back up with two consecutive error messages similar to the following ones:

Failed to read data from the disk.
A possible reason might be bad sectors on the disk.

Operation with partition "" was terminated.

Cause

Issue in the product.

Solution

Update to Acronis True Image Build 8203 or higher. See Downloading the Latest Build of Acronis Software.
