Update the machine's BIOS to resolve the issue

Symptoms

  1. Using Acronis Bootable Media you boot a machine with Intel Corporation Mobile GME965/GLE960 Integrated Graphics Controller and 8 MB of memory reserved for it in BIOS;
  2. The machine boots into a black screen.

Cause

Issue with the machine's BIOS.

Solution

Please contact your vendor and update the machine's BIOS.

More information

The issue is only with 8 MB of reserved memory.

As a temporary workaround you can set 1 MB of reserved memory for Internal Graphics Device in BIOS. In this case, Acronis Bootable Media will work but only in low graphics mode.
