1820: Acronis Bootable Media Does Not Support Broadcom HT1000 RAID

Acronis Bootable Media does not support Broadcom HT1000 RAID. There are no open source drivers for Linux kernel 2.6

Symptoms

If a Broadcom HT1000 RAID is present in the system, then it will be recognized neither as separate drives nor as RAID from Acronis Bootable Media on Linux kernel 2.6.

To identify the kernel version of your product, please see Standalone Version of Acronis Software.

To be sure that the issue is with Broadcom HT1000 RAID, please do the following:

  1. Get your Windows System Information File;
  2. Check there the Broadcom PNP Device ID in Components -> Storage -> SCSI:

    VEN_182F&DEV_000B

Cause

Linux kernel 2.6 of Acronis products does not support this type of controllers.

Solution

As a workaround, please use BartPE or WinPE:
