Acronis True Image suddenly disappears from the screen after hitting Next on the Partitions Selection screen

This article applies to:

Symptoms

  1. You run the Acronis True Image Backup wizard on the machine that has Siemens Data Exchange Software installed;
  2. After you click Next on the Partitions Selection screen, Acronis True Image suddenly disappears from the screen.

Cause

Acronis True Image conflicts with Siemens Data Exchange Software.

Solution

As a workaround, uninstall Siemens Data Exchange Software.
