This article applies to:

  • Acronis True Image Home 2010

Description

There can be situations when a user interaction is required during an operation.

For example, if the storage space on the target location becomes insufficient to complete the backup - the operation pauses and displays a warning message. During the pause, you can clean up the target location or simply cancel the operation. Or if a backup operation requires to insert a new DVD disc - there will be a respective prompt shown.

Timeout settings allow you to specify the time of how long the program should wait for your response.

You can specify the Timeout settings on under Tools & Utilities of Acronis True Image Home 2010:

Click Tools & Utilities -> Options -> Timeout settings:

With the Infinite option set, the operation will never proceed until you make a decision.
