Install Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160, then install Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160

Introduction

This article describes how to install Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack Build 7160, which is the latest available build. It can be installed over an existing build of Acronis True Image Home 2010 or from scratch on a clean system.

For information on how to find out if you have the latest build number, please see Viewing Build Number in Acronis True Image Home.

Solution

1. Download Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160 and Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160 from the Acronis website:

   For general information on how to download the latest build see Downloading the Latest Build of Acronis Software;

   Once you log into your account, locate Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160 and download it:

   

   

   Then locate Acronis True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack Build 7160 and download it:

   

2. Now, install Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160 as described in Acronis True Image Home 2010: Updating to Build 7160.

   (!) Rebooting the machine immediately after installation of Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160 is optional, since you are going to install Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160. You may choose to reboot the machine only once - after the installation of Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160.

3. When you have Acronis True Image Home 2010 Build 7160 installed, proceed to installing Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160:

   Run the Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160 installation package and click Install Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010:

   

   Click Proceed:

   

   Since you are installing an update over a previous build of the product, you will not be asked to enter the serial number. The serial number is already registered in the system.

   Acronis Plus Pack Build 7160 will then install:

   

   

   You will need to reboot the machine to complete the update:

   

(!) Once the installation of the update is finished, recreate the Acronis Bootable Media to have an updated version of it.
